Notes on lime plaster

Slow to apply, slow to cure, slow to age — which is the point.

Lime plaster is what paint pretends to be. It is mineral, breathes, and can be repaired by the person who made it.

It is also uneven, and that is its value: the walls hold light as a single field, with trowel marks that become visible only when the sun is low.
