Small studio.Deliberate work.
We were founded in 2014 on a simple idea: that a small studio, working closely with a small number of clients, makes better rooms than a large one.
We take on four to six projects a year. Each is drawn by the same few people from first sketch to last detail, and visited — often — while it is being built.
We work mostly in Flanders and along the coast, and occasionally further afield. We say no to more projects than we accept, and we are happy to explain why.

Elise Martens
Trained in Antwerp and Ghent. Draws every project first by hand, then argues with it until it is simpler.

Julien De Clercq
Previously designed restaurants in Brussels. Responsible for joinery, lighting and the way rooms feel at night.

Mila Verhaeghe
Designs the objects — tables, benches, lamps — and runs the material library. Spends too much time in workshops.
